The Indian Sports Federation of Autism (ISFA) is a national-level, non-profit, multi-sports federation established on 19th November 2013, with roots tracing back to 2002. ISFA was founded by a group of committed professionals and experts in the field of Autism and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), led by a dynamic personality — Dr. Shivajee Kumar,an acclaimed disability rights expert and former Commissioner of Disabilities, Social Welfare Department, Government of Bihar.
ISFA works to empower children and adults with Autism and associated disabilities by promoting year-round sports training and inclusive competitions across India. Through the power of sports, we aim to nurture confidence, build physical and emotional well-being, and foster inclusion and dignity.
We have successfully conducted six national games and numerous state- and district-level events, making ISFA a leading force in Autism-inclusive sports in India.
